THOUGHTS & FEELINGS

                    
My feelings  are drowning in my thoughts
I can't to seem to stay afloat.They keep
pulling me  under.The current is very 
strong.
I try to swim  to pull my head  above 
 my thoughts.The flow is so rapid 
I find myself struggling wereI found 
myself in a pond.
It's swirling with my emotions,feelings
and thoughts.The swirling got me a bit
dizzy,and the flow constantly keeps trying
to take me under.
The pond empty out into a river that 
has a life of it's own.Ya,see! The river
is fill with self doubter,worthlesness,
you never amout to anything,why do
you exist.
I got pulled under the river of thoughts
I lost consciousness for a moment as I feel
myself  descending.I came to  just into in time
to catch mt last breathe as I struggle to swim to 
the top.
I gasp as I find myself moving to  a big
mass I couldn't quite see what it was because 
my thoughts is still being hamper by the 
pond,and the rivers envy...
The flow from the river was kind of
scary because in the distance.I see this
big mass.At first it appears dark and gloomy
and I was bit scared  as I approach it
 approaching the mass the river drain into
the sea of infinity  amount of possibilities
I wasn't struggling to stay afloat any more 
becausethe sea was bring me to my wishes,
dreams,ideas
Not only that the sea introduce  me to success,hope,
opportunities
for a moment I wanted to  look back,but the sea got 
hold of me and showed me that I kept  afloat.

Why look back now, you made this far, keep going....

The life's that were lost



are far in between  the 
bravery  that has been 
shown to us,all of it
hasn't been in vain.

we honor you,cherish you 
and never forget what 
you have done.
 
because of the bravery 
you had shown.Come's with 
the dignity  of knowing
the love,and honor
from us all.


I simple want to SALUTE  you for all, you have done...

LOVE

Love is happy
 love is sad.
 Love is to be enjoy in different ways.

SUMMER DELIGHT

          
 Winter dreams summer breezes
the smell of summer such delight
with green grass and flowers a bloom
 and glorious sunshine makes summer
happy and consumed.
The out doors are filled with activities
with people a bustle to enjoy what summer
 has to offer.
 I want ice cream I smell barbeques cookin.
The parks,and beaches are fill with people with
play to enjoy every part of summer every which way.

WHO IS A POET ?!

So,far I've feature two of my favorites poets who I whole heartily admire.But,what's a poet?I mean I call myself an aspiring author/poet.Am I really a poet?I know this shouldn't be that difficult to answer,but I'm curious.Reason being at times I can find words that flow perfectly together,and other times I'm just pondering.Another reason is I always thought poetry was words that had to rhyme to be a poem.I know that seems  childish ,but hey that's what I thought.
What I found about poetry is that there are so many aspect to writing,and being a poet.,but where do I fit in to the equation?Again I know this shouldn't be a geometry question,and can any one be a poet?I have so many questions,but no answers to any of them.
So, since I see myself as STILL taking baby steps.Some of my poetry will be understandable,and some won't. 

SAUL WILLIAMS

                                              
My next poet of the day is none other than,Saul Williams.Saul isn't just a poet he's a writer,musician,and actor.Some may remember him on the hit TV show Girlfriends, do you remember him,now? No,not yet? Come on now, the celibate speaking poet,  Sivad.Well if not here's  one clip that might jog you memory of who this talented person is.

With out further a due, as to the reason why  I  like this poet  and dare I say  became a  fan of  Saul Williams.But,to me he will Always be Sivad  the poet from Girlfriends.

I listen to this poem maybe a thousand time,if not more.But, here is why she is so famous for her literary work.
